《#星际之门# Stargate》剧集系列自《星际之门：宇宙 Stargate Universe》被砍后一直停摆，不过MGM宣布他们将拍摄10集网剧《星际之门：起源 Stargate Origins》，以Catherine Langford为主角。（今年亦是《星际之门SG-1 Stargate SG-1》的第20周年） 《星际之门：起源》由Mark Ilvedson和Justin Michael Terry执笔﹑Mercedes Bryce Morgan执导，会以全新篇幅讲述Catherine Langford与星际之门之间的早期故事；年轻的Catherine在意料外的冒险中解开了星际之门的神秘面纱，并同时在黑暗力量手中拯救地球。。《天赐》将是中国首部鸟类故事片。2008年1月24日获国家电影局摄制许可证。该片历经七年七个繁殖期，采用高清磁带记录方式完成素材拍摄。影片讲述了一只黑尾鸥由出生到长大的艰难历程，期间经历了丧父之痛、失兄之痛直到最后失去母亲成为孤儿，在生与死的边缘挣扎的故事。影片采用实拍的原始方式，忠实的在客观存在的基础上完成故事的情节发展记录。。San Kaew is a cunning girl who disguised herself as a boy to find her real dad.
