所谓的“除妖”，即是把由于某些缘由而从原本应在的“隐世”来到“现世”停留的妖怪们送回“隐世”这一工作。某天，被妖怪附体的高中生·芦屋花绘，依靠偶然发现的联络方式，来到了专门除妖的物怪庵，在那里的是一脸不高兴的店主安倍晴斋。由于某些缘故，芦屋就这样以物怪庵奉公人的身份开始工作……安倍与芦屋的除妖组合和妖怪们的物语就此开幕。。影片讲述了古代的武馆忠义山庄原本和平安宁，但突遭各种小妖怪的骚扰。武馆的小雅为了救被竹叶青蛇精咬伤的师兄，私自放了那条被封印了500年的蟒蛇精。重获自由的蟒蛇精被捉妖奶奶收回了法力，她只能靠帮小雅她们打妖怪、以积攒的功德来孵化蛇蛋，直到蛇蛋破壳之日她才能重获法力。就这样，蟒蛇精阴差阳错成了山庄的安全使者，与武馆的孩子们一起降服了很多小妖怪。。The second season of Riviera sees Georgina (Julia Stiles) focused on trying to get away with murder as she fights to retain power within the Clios household and her position at the top of the elusive art world.
