正值中年的刘立成（张嘉译 饰）是某大学社会学教授，在外他是学识渊博，谈吐潇洒的婚姻问题专家，人们都将他的讲座光盘奉为圭臬，然而回到家中的刘立成却有着难以道尽的苦衷。刘的妻子孙晓丹（朱媛媛 饰）美丽干练，独当一面，但是洁癖的毛病可真真害苦了劳工刘立成。加上从结婚起就和公婆住在一起，心高气傲的晓丹自然有着诸多愤懑与不平，于是乎她和丈夫的争吵不断，矛盾也逐渐升级，最终闹到了离婚的地步。 离婚后，晓丹在事业上一路攀升，立成也有了新的感情归宿。只是各人苦乐各人知，光鲜的外表下总归有着种种不适。晓丹和立成的缘分未断，锅碗瓢盆交响曲还在继续……。In the town of Thiers, summer of 1976, teachers and parents give their children skills, love, and attention. A teacher has his first child, a single mother hopes to meet Mr. Right, another mom reaches out to Patrick, a motherless lad who is just discovering the opposite sex. Patrick befriends Julien, a new student who lives in poverty with his mother and has a terrible secret. Bruno shows his friends how to chat up girls. Sylvie stages a witty protest against her parents. Brothers give a friend a haircut. A toddler falls from a window and is unhurt. Everybody goes to the cinema. At camp, Martine catches Patrick's eye. A teacher explains: "Life is hard, but it's wonderful.。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents? Jean-Marie, his fiancée Micheline and his cousin Edwige investigate and finally succeed in exposing the culprit. And, the count's body being found by chance, all goes back to normal.。
