本片根据真实人物改编。第一次来到西藏工作的老孔（宋洋饰），急需一个翻译，机缘巧合下，找到了在内地读过书的久美（金巴饰）。两个人从互相矛盾到彼此理解，最终成为了一生的朋友……。讲述了一位痴迷于村山画作的年轻女子阿咲，一位能听到不寻常频率并自称是村山或其精神印记的年轻男子佐久，以及一组具有超能力的年轻表演者。他们因村山的作品而结缘，并在前往一个名为“阿加尔塔”的神秘洞穴的旅途中，通过表演舞蹈重现他的作品。。A paranormal investigator arrives in a sleepy Midwest town to investigate the mysterious loss of his old lover and reconcile sins of the past.
