农民老王带着女儿黑妞儿和孤儿顺儿逃难，与众人一起在边省建立了美丽的家园太平村。金秋时节，强盗进犯，村民们选举壮实的顺儿为抗敌领袖。青年农民田德厚喜欢黑妞儿，但因黑妞儿与顺儿自小便极要好，遂对顺儿心存芥蒂。混进村的奸细企图从中挑拨，德厚将计就计找到敌人埋藏武器的地点。奸细见阴谋败露欲下毒手，顺儿带村人将其擒下，德厚与顺儿前嫌尽释。敌人开始猛攻村庄，德厚与黑妞儿英勇牺牲，村民们在顺儿的带领下继续战斗……。This feature documentary intends to spread the word about Paleo (aka the Caveman diet) and raise public awareness about this healthy alternative to the Standard American/Western Diet (SAD).
