在1800年代中期荷属东印度群岛殖民时期，一群背景各异的人起身反抗总督的残暴统治，不久便掌控荷军驻扎过的格里斯小镇。片中剧情围绕着数个拥有不同背景与信念的独特角色发展，他们团结一致努力摆脱暴政的钳制，争取决定自己命运的机会。。It was a fateful coincidence that in 2014, just when the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam was staging an exhibition of Crimean artworks, Russia annexed the region. So now the question arises of who should the artworks be returned to? To the museums in Crimea who had been so kind as to loan them out? Or to Ukraine, perhaps, the country Crimea belonged to before the annexation?...。Derek is a loyal nursing home care assistant who sees only the good in his quirky co-workers as they struggle against prejudice and shrinking budgets to care for their elderly residents.。
